Mrs Newland's Challenge of the Week: 22.06.20
Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I saw from Portfolio and Tapestry that lots of you had had a go at some optical illusion art last week. If so, I hope you kept hold of it for this week's challenge! If not, it's not too late. You can still have a go. I'll upload the instructions to all of the class pages on the school website!
This week, we are going to add to it. I'd like you to experiment with taking photographs of you pretending to fall. Once you have one you are happy with, print it out in black and white, cut it out and stick it onto your art work!
Don't worry if you don't have access to a camera and/or a printer. You can draw your picture instead, or cut something out of a magazine. You could draw a picture of an animal if you prefer..
Ge creative and let me see your masterpieces on Portfolio or on Tapestry!
I hope you like mine!

Mrs Newland's Challenge of the Week - 01.06.20
Good afternoon everyone.
I hope you all had a lovely half term.
Thank you to those who sent their pictures of the toilet roll tube challenge efforts. They were brilliant! You can see pictures of them all if you click on this link:
This week, I would like to create a display/piece of artwork in school to demonstrate what lock down has meant to our community. Perhaps you have learnt a new skill? Perhaps you have discovered somewhere new that is now your favourite place? Perhaps you have been particularly artistic. Perhaps there is one particular thing you have enjoyed doing.
You could send me a photograph, a picture, a poem, a piece of writing, a collage... The possibilities are endless! Please send me your idea via the message section and/or the Portfolio section of ClassDojo. I will then print them out to use in school. I would really like every child to be represented so get those ideas coming!
Have a great week everyone.
