Reading: 1 Timothy 4:12

¹² You are young, but don’t let anyone treat you as if you are not important. Be an example to show the believers how they should live. Show them by what you say, by the way you live, by your love, by your faith, and by your pure life.

 

Prayer for the week:

Help us to follow the example of Jesus

Help us to hold on to the truth,

Even when people around us argue and think in different ways.

Give us wisdom to make our voice count.

Give us strength to see when we also get things wrong.

We pray for all those who lead.

We ask that you would help them think of others.

Help them want to please you and carry out their work in a way that cares for everyone.

Help them not to do be selfish with the power they have

But use it to help everyone they serve.

Amen.
