SEN Learning Support Assistant

 

Start Date:1st September2022 or sooner if possible

Salary: Scale 3, point 4-5 (actual salary £10, 198)

Hours: 22.5 per week, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 1pm

Type: Fixed term until 31st July 2023 for a named child

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide one to one support for akey stage 1 pupil who has a diagnosis of ASD. You will work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCo to support learning in line with the pupil's one plan. Experience of working with children with special needs is desirable. This position is for a fixed term for a named child.

The successful candidate will:

have a high level of empathy and compassion;
have the ability to form positive relationships with colleagues and children;
have experience of and is confident in supporting children's special educational needs, including social & emotional;
be prepared to take on any educational training as required;
remain calm in challenging situations and work closely as part of a team;
liaise with and report to the class teacher and SENCo;
have a good sense of humour!

Early Years/Key stage 1 Learning Support Assistant

Salary: Scale 3, point 4-5 (actual salary £10, 198)

Hours: 32.5 per week, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3:30pm. Term time including 5 non-pupil days (39 weeks per year)

Type: Permanent

 

Due to a reorganisation of the school, we are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated, passionate Learning Support Assistant to work within our reception and key stage 1 team with a focus on our reception children. We are a very strong team in a nurturing school with close links to other local schools.

You will need:

  • GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Very high expectations for behaviour and learning
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • To be flexible, solutions focused and good humoured at all times
  • To work effectively alongside the class teacher but with the initiative to adapt to learning needs as presented.

It is also desirable for you to have:

  • Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification or NNEB
  • At least 2 years working in a school
  • Recent previous experience of working in an early years setting or classroom

SEN Midday Assistant

Hours: 7.5 per week, Monday - Friday, 11:45 am - 1:15 pm, 38 weeks

Type: Permanent

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Midday Assistant to provide one to one support for a key stage 1 pupil who has a diagnosis of ASD. You will work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCo to support the pupil at lunch time. Experience of working with children with special needs is desirable.

Midday Assistant

Hours: 7.5 per week, Monday - Friday, 11:45 am - 1:15 pm, 38 weeks

School Business Manager

Annual Salary Scale 7 (Actual salary £18386 - £20886)

Contract - 28 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (39 weeks term date and 3 weeks in school closure periods to be agreed). Exact working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.
