We used the Church of England faith at home series to explore Easter.

We also thought about the resurrection. Mrs Newland wrapped a glass (representing Jesus as pure and whole) in a tea towel (representing the linen) and smashed it (representing Jesus broken body after his crucifixion). She then placed it in a bag (representing the tomb). After a short time she took it out again and the glass was whole. This represented the resurrection of Jesus.
