This week's reading is: John 13:15

'I have set you an example. So you should do as I have done for you.'

We thought about the Queen as a Servant Leader as we celebrated the Platinum Jubilee. 

We had an additional whole school worship this week where we thought about the fruits of the spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. This including singing the song below!

This was in preparation for the launch of our whole school RE enquiry which will be based on the question 'Where does peace come from?'

We also thought about Pentecost in our Key Stage worship. 

Prayer for the week:

Dear God,

We thank you for giving us your peace. Help us to spread peace at home and at school by loving and caring for one another. Help us to spread peace by listening to one another, even when we don't agree. Help us to spread peace by sharing our time with those who are lonely and who need a friend. Help us to spread peace by thinking and praying for children who have no food or who are frightened and live in fear. Let us pray every day for peace for our families, for our friends and for ourselves. Amen.
