w/c 5th June
Our reading this week is 2 Corinthians 13:11-13
11 Now, brothers and sisters, be filled with joy. Try to make everything right, and do what I have asked you to do. Agree with each other, and live in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
12 Give each other the special greeting of God’s people. All of God’s holy people here send you their greetings.
13 I pray that you will enjoy the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer for the week:
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the holy spirit, be with us all, now and evermore
Amen
Song for the week: The Trinity Song
In school:
We have been thinking about the holy Trinity as it was Trinity Sunday on Sunday 4th June. We started by looking at some images of a shamrock, a creme egg and an egg. We realised they all have three parts but are one thing! We knew we had heard about three in one when talking about the trinity before and could remember it was made up of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We then read the passage from the bible and thought about the inclusion of the trinity in the passage.
We also thought about the Celtic symbol which is sometimes used to represent the trinity and Mrs Newland showed us how a Möbius strip can be cut into three interlinked circles also representing three-in-one.

Question to think about at home:
What do you understand about the Christian belief in one God?
What big questions do you have about God or belief in God?
Challenge: Spend a few minutes each day thinking or reflecting or praying about the big questions you have.
